What to Expect

UMS invites you to experience Moravian Day weekend! a vibrant celebration of our Moravian, Czech, and Slovak heritage

Our goal is to preserve our heritage and inspire new generations by sharing the music, dances, and customs of their ancestors. Listen—or sing along—to the beautiful songs of the heartland, and watch dancers of all ages showcase their skill and passion to the lively rhythms of the polka and čardáš.

Experience an unforgettable afternoon featuring brilliantly choreographed performances featuring  performers dressed in authentic kroje (traditional costumes).

The dynamic folk dancing and heartfelt singing by our talented groups is accompanied by the renowned BAND from Moravia.

Savor true ethnic foods, share in laughter and tradition, and open your heart to the richness of our cultural heritage.

Highlights


Holy  Mass will begin promptly at 10:00AM and will be celebrated in the Moravian dialect.

The Moravian Day Folklore Performance Program begins at 2:00PM

  • We'd recommend booking your transportation to and from the event as soon as possible, to ensure you can arrive without any complications or delays.
